Specialists MAT is an advanced, full-service office based opioid treatment clinic with the advantage of a medical team that incorporates a board certified specialist in Addiction Medicine, advanced practice nurses, and counselors. Our mission is to support our patients in their effort to live healthy and active lives free from their addiction. We do this by providing them with the highest level of expertise in addiction medicine with an uncompromising detail to service and patient comfort. We are a multi-specialty provider group offering behavioral, medical and interventional therapies.
Guy M. Lerner, MD
Founder and Medical Director, Specialists MAT
Dr. Guy Lerner is a physician with nearly 40 years of experience, 27 of them caring for patients in Kentucky. He is board certified in Addiction Medicine, Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology.
Dr. Lerner founded Specialists MAT to give his patients what they often couldn't find in one place: treatment for opioid use disorder alongside care for the conditions that frequently come with it, including mental health, hepatitis C and HIV. That integrated approach has earned the respect of fellow physicians across the region, many of whom refer their patients to him.
